EDD - 1 Tue 17 Jun: Hippo Farm

11-23 degC, a rather balmy day compared to the previous week, overcast and miserable looking

Spent the morning doing the washing but not confident it will dry. Then cooked up the last of the potato and sweet potato.

Did another pre pack and Wendy's gear comes in at about 15kg total, which is quite a bit. However, she has been through all her stuff and can’t find anything she can do without. So, she will just have to work a bit harder. Greg's stuff only weighs 12kg that is a little more than usual. However, he doesn't have much personal stuff, but is carrying both bike chains and locks. Also, Wendy carries the pharmacy.

A lovely lady (Robyn) from Church rang Greg to say that she was praying for us and was lead to Psalm 32:8 - “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Greg is going to miss the amazing congregation at his Church very much; they have been such an inspirational and support to him during his Christian journey. They will all be in our prayers while we are away. Greg was very moved by the prayers and farewell he received at last Sunday's Service.
